SUBWOOFER SYSTEM IN FLAT DESIGN (UNDERSEAT) WITH 15 x 20 CM (6 x 8“) SUBWOOFER

The compact subwoofer doesn't have an integrated amplifier and is designed for external power via separate amplifiers. Its purpose is easily explained: When installing a sound system with a multi-channel amplifier, one or even two additional channels are often available. These are ideal for powering small external subwoofers. One or two SUB1P subwoofers can be directly connected to these outputs. This is particularly convenient with the Musway M5 and M6 models, as they can be easily connected using the included Quick Connect cable. Alternatively, small mono amplifiers are also perfectly suited for operating the passive SUB1P versions. The SUB1P's key feature is the integrated output for a second passive SUB1P. A second subwoofer can be connected to this output using the included 2-meter Quick Connect cable and placed, for example, under the passenger seat. The difference in bass response with a second subwoofer is clearly audible and noticeable.

The SUB1P has an impedance of 2 ohms. For example, if a Musway M6 amplifier is connected using the included Quick Connect cable, initially only channel 5 of the amplifier is used. When a second SUB1P is added, it is connected to the output of the first SUB1P via the supplied QC cable. The second SUB1P is then magically powered by amplifier channel 6 of the amplifier – thanks to the pre-assembled plug+play cables.
